You are looking for a place to grab a quick coffee that is in South Chandler, and you want something that has quick access to the 202. You heard about this place called The Grove, which is located on the northeast corner of Queen Creek Road and Gilbert Road. But as you start to get closer, all you see is a church? What is going on here?

You found it!

The Grove is not what you would expect to find in a coffee house. Yes, your eyes are right, The Grove is actually a Christian Church, which happens to run a coffee house. Based on my experience there, though, this is not an afterthought. This is a very well thought out and inviting coffee shop.

All you need to do is look at their Yelp reviews; it will tell you all you need to know.

What you are going to find when you visit there is a quiet, peaceful environment that offers great outdoor seating as well as options to lounge on a couch inside or sit at a table and get some work done.

I am a fan of ice coffee, but I am usually reluctant to try it the first time I am at a coffee shop. Hot coffee can be a hit or miss, but I find when you miss with ice coffee, you tend to ‘really miss.’ The Grove does not miss. I tried a Cuban iced coffee, and it was fantastic.

The barista behind the counter was very friendly and was patient when I was trying to decide what to get. Everything about this place just puts you at ease.
