Welcome back to my third release of the top 5 coffee houses in Chandler AZ. At #5 we had The Grove and coming in at #4 was the Downtown Chandler Cafe. #3 is the coffee house I probably spend the most time at, and the one which I have written dozens of contracts at. Talebu, located on the Northeast corner of Alama School and Warner.
It has been fun watching Talebu grow up over the last several years. When I first found it in 2011, Talebu was nothing special when you walked in. There were a few tables, a few couches and good coffee. Now they have a wine and beer bar, a stage for small music shows and one of the best atmospheres in Chandler.
If this list was the best places to get iced tea, I think I could start and end my list with Talebu. They have without a doubt, the best iced tea in Chandler and maybe the best I have ever had. They have jars and jars of loose leafed teas which you can get hot or iced. They will freshly brew the tea for you, this takes time, sit and relax it is worth the wait. While my favorite iced tea is the Orange Cinnamon, another fun thing to do is combine flavors, such as Plum Monkey and Madagascar Vanilla.
The staff is great. They did have one barista I was not a fan of. I had a really bad experience with him and his poor service that made me stop going there for a while. But over the last several months I have been going in again and have not seen him and service is back to the awesomeness level I had grown to expect.
My favorite hot coffee there is the Mexican Mocha. Just enough cinnamon to make it different than other coffees.
Stop on by sometime and check it out. I do not think you will be disappointed. Who knows, maybe you will see me in there with my #phxREguy shirt on writing up a new offer on a house.
