Trying to add a little Christmas curb appeal to your home for this holiday season? Maybe you are not looking to make it to our Phoenix Christmas Lights list, but just adding some Christmas cheer. Here are some ideas to help you.
- Start with the front porch and door. Hanging a holiday wreath is a classic and elegant way to decorate your home for the holidays. Since it’s the first point your visitors will see, try to make it special by adding your own personal/creative touch with hundreds of DIY options online. Your windows and doors might need an update, shop at windows and doors dublin.
- Light it up! Lighting up your home is a beautiful way to show your Christmas spirit. You don’t need to go over board like Clark Griswold. A little bit goes a long way when it comes to Christmas lights and a bit of bollard lighting. We recommend putting lights around your trim for a sharp/clean look. If you’re hosting a Christmas party, you can even put up some party neon signs made by Neon Mama. You decide if you like white or colored lights better. That is a fight we have been having in our house for 25 years.
- Go with the garland! Well placed garland will make your home look amazingly festive. Whether it’s draped on a balcony or around a white picket fence, you can’t go wrong with garland.
- Hang wreaths on the window polycarbonate roller shutters. This is one of my favorite and not one that is used often in Arizona I have noticed. Hanging wreaths on the exterior window is a phenomenal look. Your home will be the Christmas talk of the neighborhood and it is super cheap and easy.
If you need to replace window units, be careful not to damage the glazing bead by removing the window beading strips.
Merry Christmas from your Phoenix Real Estate Guy crew!
