While making my daily pilgrimage to Starbucks this morning, I noticed that seemingly overnight the trees have decided that fall has arrived.
This despite the last couple of weeks with daily high temperatures pushing 80.
Yeah, it sucks living in Phoenix in the “Fall” and “Winter”…
Driving around with the top down.
Wearing shorts and flip-flops.
Golfing, hiking, bike riding, swimming, laying out by the pool.
It’s a rough life. Hardly tolerable. I mean last week we had to turn on the air conditioner for Pete’s sake!
Soon, winter will be here — in all its glory.
Sometimes I’m jealous of my friends that live in colder climes. They get to shovel snow. Sometimes I feel like I am missing out on something.
After all, you can’t shovel sunshine…
If the leaves are just dropping…you have winter beat! 🙂 Even though it is milder up north this year, winters fury will still be felt at some time. BTW the photo looks great!
I’m in Dallas and we thought we had it bad here. But I can see you’re really suffering. My heart goes out to you, Jay.
Yeah, we have it this tough in Palm Springs too….. life’s a bitch at times, isn’t it?…LOL
It’s a rough life living in climates without SEASONS… but someone has to do it.
