So what are great parks to take kids to in the summer? More specifically and parks in Chandler with splash pads, because you know, it can get hot here.
That is a question I received from someone who knew I had 6 kids and assumed I would know. Well, I do have some favorites. One of my favorites is Espee Park in Northeast Chandler. Espee is located on Knox Rd between McQueen and Arizona and runs the full length of Warner to Knox.
Why is Espee awesome? It has a little of everything. Espee Park has a skate/bike park, it has three ball fields, swings, money bars etc and the best part, it has a splash pad for the kids.
This is a place we have many of the kids birthday parties, this is one of our favorites. I also run many of our running practices here. The park in total with the fields and gravel paths that run along the sides is 1/2 mile long and 1/4 mile wide in some places.
Espee is also close to Stonegate Crossing which is one of my favorite communities in Chandler Arizona.
