Last week I posted updated information about the Culture Pass Program. As a follow-up to that post way back in July 2011 I wrote a post listing the Phoenix Area Museums that have free or discounted admission days. Apparently, that post still gets a lot of views, even more so lately. I suspect that people are looking for things to do indoors to escape the Arizona summer heat so, I decided to update that list today. Here is the updated list of as of March 16th, 2014.

Arizona Historical Society Museum at Papago Park | 2 for 1 Admission the First Tuesday of every month |
Arizona Museum for Youth | First Sunday of the month, noon to 5 pm |

ASU Art Museums | Admission is always free at all 3 locations |
Children’s Museum of Phoenix | Target sponsored Free First Friday Nights in 2014 from 5pm – 9pm: February 7, March 7, May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, December 5. Note there are no Target Free First Friday Nights in January or April. Admission is free all day on Memorial Day, Monday May 26, 2014. |
Desert Botanical Garden | Admission is free the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 8am – 4pm. |
House of Broadcasting | Admission is always free |
Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum | First Sunday of the month, noon to 5 pm |
