Bekka is a brand new real estate sales licensee ”“ as in she got her license last week. She will be under the tutelage of Jason Geroux and joining his team, the Spectrum Group at Thompson’s Realty.
Last week we met Bekka, her husband Dan, and their gorgeous 10 month old daughter Emma and were immediately struck by how personable and genuine they all were ”“ two huge prerequisites for being successful in real estate. I asked Bekka why she got her license and here response was, “I just love real estate. Sometimes I stay up late at night looking at homes online.”
While this is slightly disturbing in some aspects, having a passion is important and we have zero doubt that Jason will school her appropriately and she’ll be wildly successful.
Here is a little about Bekka in her own words:
I was born and raised in AZ, except for a small part of my infant life in Arkansas. I have an AA in Business and worked with autistic and disabled kids and adults for some years. I loved it!
For almost two years I served as a Missionary in Uruguay, Montevideo for the LDS Church. It was an amazing experience and the people there were so humble and kind. That helped me become bilingual in the Castellano/Spanish language, which I truly miss using!! Funny tidbit- while serving I was: almost run off a bridge by a semi, attacked by ferocious dogs, assaulted by kids with rocks (mean little buggers), and I was LITERALLY hit by a truck. Loved, loved, loved it! (Editor’s note: I’m assuming she loved the overall adventure, not the getting hit by a truck thing”¦)
My husband and I are now enjoying our beautiful little 10 month old baby girl, whose hobbies nowadays consist of growling and kissing feet (she’ll eat ’em if you’re not quick enough). Very funny chick.
Dan and I have been married almost two-and-a-half years. I play guitar & trumpet, and he plays piano, and works as a GED / English language teacher in Mesa. We currently live in south Phoenix.
I LOVE looking at homes! Although getting licensed was anything but easy for me, I really couldn’t wait to do it. Sometimes I’d find myself searching until dawn for the perfect home for family members as well as for ourselves. Even long after we bought our first home did I crave the search (and secretly DID search when no one was looking). I admit: I HAVE A PROBLEM
Welcome aboard Bekka!!
