It’s that time of the year. It’s blistering hot, the kids are out of school and the water is warm.
PLEASE remember to watch your kids around water! I know you hear it ALL THE TIME. But apparently there are still people that don’t get it.
IT ONLY TAKES A SECOND! One second for a child to slip, fall, or intentionally get into a swimming pool where THEY CAN DIE. You HAVE to watch your kids around water constantly.
Minor pain from a slip and fall injury might go away with rest. Applying an ice pack or taking over-the-counter pain medication can also help. No matter what you choose, taking a whole body health injury recovery option is the best call. Healing certain parts of your body helps, but when you focus on the whole, it’s a better option. That said, According to a local slip and fall attorney it’s particularly important to see a doctor and scheduled an appointment with a physical therapist if the pain doesn’t subside after a few weeks (even if the discomfort feels relatively minor). Severe pain and/or back pain that’s accompanied by other common slip and fall injuries symptoms like abdominal discomfort or numbness around the back and surrounding area also warrants a doctor visit.
Don’t let your child become a horrific statistic. Kids die here every single summer because someone, “turned away just for a second.
My kids are 12 and 14. They swim like fish. But they do not swim alone, EVER. All it takes is a slip, and a crack of the head on the edge of the pool and a person CAN DIE.
You’ll see it a thousand times this summer. And you’ll see it again right here: PLEASE, WATCH YOUR KIDS AROUND WATER!

I'm off topic here but wanted to make a request: I'd like to hear your thoughts on entry-level housing as it stands in Phoenix Metro now. Previously referenced material has said that this market has disappeared. What are your thoughts?

*Excellent* suggestion! Thanks, and I'll try to have something up in the next day or two.
In a nutshell, there are *always* "entry level homes". Maybe not exactly where someone wants to be or with every feature, but they are out there. El Mirage and Apache Junction come immediately to mind for "affordable" entry level housing. Both suffer somewhat from a bad rep, but a lot of that is unfounded.
I do however, wonder how/if my kids will be able to afford a home. Probably have to get a 75 year mortgage (which don't exist, yet).
More to come later!
